Tracy M. Porter, M.Ed., SPHR

Tracy M. Porter has served as Chief People Officer at Taysha Gene Therapies since 2021.

Tracy is a seasoned human resources leader with over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurial and global business environments in the biopharmaceutical space. She has guided startup and early-stage organizations through product launches and has led human resources strategies during periods of growth, including manufacturing expansions, acquisitions, divestitures and organizational transformations. Before joining Taysha, Tracy served as Vice President, Head of Human Resources at Audentes Therapeutics, where she developed, implemented and sustained the company’s human capital strategy through significant growth and supported the organization through its acquisition by Astellas Pharma. Prior to Audentes, Tracy served as Senior Director, Organizational and Talent Development at Medivation Inc. Tracy has also held roles in organizational development and training at Bayer HealthCare and Wells Fargo.

Tracy earned a B.S. in human development and counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an M.Ed in global human resource development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
